What Is Ignite? |
A: |
We are a Bible based, parent led, Christian co-op, not exclusive to Christian families. We strive to connect homeschool families to Jesus, each other, and our community. |

Where do you meet? |
A: |
We meet at Elevation Church in Clearfield, Utah (375 S. State Street Clearfield, UT). The church does not operate our co-op, it has offered the space as a ministry to homeschooling families and as an outreach to the community. Our co-op is made up of families who attend a wide variety of churches in the area. |

When do you meet? |
A: |
We meet weekly on Thursdays from 9:15 AM-1:30 PM for 20 weeks from September to March, we have a long break from mid-November to mid-January. |

What ages can participate? |
A: |
We currently have classes for students in Kindergarten through 7th grade, but we hope to eventually have classes for older students. While we offer nursery and preschool classes, they are intended for younger siblings. We’re not the best choice for families who only have preschool and nursery age children. |

What types of classes do you have? |
A: |
We offer 3 hour long enrichment and academic classes for 4-6 age groups with 1-2 class options each hour. Class options change each year depending on the needs and desires of those involved. Parents and leadership work together to decide what classes will be offered each year. |

Who teaches the classes? |
A: |
Ignite classes are usually taught by parents, but we welcome grandparents, pastors, and other friends in the community to teach as well. Because we are a Bible-based co-op that seeks to raise our children with a Biblical worldview to love Jesus and share His light with those around us, we require that all leadership team members and teachers agree with and sign the Statement of Faith in good conscience. |

What are parents expected to do? |
A: |
We are not a drop-off co-op, one parent or guardian must commit to being a contributing member of our community. While at co-op, parents help every week by teaching, helping in classes, serving in the nursery, cleaning, facilitating recess, or volunteering in some other way. |

How much does it cost? |
A: |
Annual family registration is $40, background check fee is $10, and most classes have a small fee ($5-20). |

When is registration? |
A: |
Registration for the full school year is between June and August. Late registration for Winter ONLY classes is between November and December. |

How can I learn more about this co-op? |
A: |
We have 2 Informational Meetings during our co-op terms, one in the fall and one in the winter. We also have 3 Informational Meetings in the summer, usually at a park before registration closes. Please see the calendar for these dates. PLEASE NOTE: Attending an Informational Meeting is a requirement to join Ignite, you cannot register for classes unless you attend an Informational Meeting.
